An exhibition that believes every object has layered authenticity.  Coinciding with an exhibition of forgeries by Mark Landis, Fakin' It plays with the concept of "false" by showcasing  a sincerity of materials and authentic voices of a group of international artists.  Works question the continually blurring line between sculpture and painting.  SOme explot the studio as stage for decoys and charlatans.  While others are masterfully hand -crafted versions of debris and dollar store items.  Fakin' It showcases the playfully acute struggle artists have with honesty.
Artists:  David Herbert, Cynthia Gregory, Marc Horowitz, Alex Ebstein, Seth Alesberger,
Megan Shvaneveldt, Katie Bell, Roula Partheniou, Allan Ludwig, and Cabinet Magazine.
